About the hotel

Hernö Gin Hotell is the experience hotel at the heart of Höga Kusten. Rising majestically above Kanaludden in central Härnösand, it offers sweeping views of both land and sea.

Spread across nine floors and featuring 122 rooms, the hotel’s design is inspired by the Hernö Gin distillery in Dala – a visual extension of the impressions and experiences that await visitors there. The colour palette, seen in textiles and walls, reflects the distillery’s signature hues in a softer, more minimalist tone. Touches of copper in the interiors echo the hand-hammered copper stills used in gin production, while natural materials like wood and greenery bring in a sense of closeness to nature.

On the ground floor, culinary delights await at Restaurant Southside, where locally sourced ingredients meet international classics in a menu crafted with both heart and skill. During sunny summer days, the spacious outdoor terrace becomes a natural gathering place for guests and locals alike.

Up on the second floor, you’ll find the Hernö Gin Bar, where world-class gin cocktails are mixed with passion. We offer eight meeting spaces in variety of sizes and styles – from the inspiring Gin Studio to our intimate chambre séparée to our largest venue, Aviation, accommodating up to 225 guests.

A moment of relaxation at Stillery Relax & Poolclub

If you’re looking to unwind and recharge, Stillery Relax & Poolclub awaits in the adjacent building. Enjoy the sauna, steam room, cold and warm pools and experience showers. The outdoor sauna, surrounded by nature and featuring panoramic windows and a sun deck, offers a calming view – the perfect setting for peace and renewed energy. The nearby lounge area includes a bar serving food and drinks, with plenty of space to relax and socialise. On Fridays and Saturdays after 3 PM, we raise the tempo and transform the spa into a vibrant pool club.
